Item Description
A strikingly complex, 1,42 carat, yellow-green, diamond from South Africa. The glassy octahedron has so many faces, that is nearly a sphere! It also has depressed, stepped-face dimples in some of the crystal faces! Facinating! Rare in this crystal form. This amazing and beautiful diamond is from the famous Pemier Mine of South Africa. It is the largest kimberlite diamond pipe in that country and produced the worlds largest diamond, the Cullinan, found in 1905 and weighing an incredible 3106 carats! Valued at $1300-1500.
