Item Description

A classic and excellent combination specimen from the famous Morro Velho Gold Mine. Water-clear quartz points to 3.0 cm and numerous, lustrous, calcite disks are richly and attractively peppered with lustrous, pseudohexagonal, brassy, platy, pyrrhotite crystals. The fatter crystals are pyrrhotite: The iridescent pyrrhotites reach 8 mm. Some of the more slender crystals, curving and smaller, are rare cubanites. This fine combination specimen is in excellent shape and probalby dates to the 1970s. Ex Zukowski Collection.
