Rarely does one find a good quality matrix specimen of Cubanite from the most classic locale at the Chibougamau. This miniature specimen features a predominant 1.1 cm sharp, brassy metallic Cubanite on Halite matrix. Only very minor on the main crystal, and the fact that it is FREE-STANDING on Halite matrix makes all the difference. This area has produced the world's FINEST Cubanite specimens, and pieces like this are few and far between on the market.
