Cubanite

Item Description

Rarely does one find a good quality matrix specimen of Cubanite from the most classic locale at the Henderson No. 2 Mine. This thumbnail specimen features a fairly well-formed, sharp, brassy metallic crystal of Cubanite with minor Calcite. The crystal only has a tiny bit of edge wear near the termination with a bit of roughness near the base, but it's a good sized crystal with nice form. This locality has produced the world's FINEST Cubanite specimens, and pieces are few and far between on the market.
