A sculptural robust specimen of solid crystallized native silver from one of the greatest silver localities on earth. This sculptural flattened specimen is dramatically highlighted by the two striking large spinel-twinned "leaves" in the center of the piece. The overall form is a spinel-twin with the piece composed of a myriad of rounded, subhedral crystals with a beatiful variable burnished patina. A most excellent and very showy old-time Kongsberg silver. Mass is 64 grams. Comes with a custom-made and engraved lucite base valued at $145 (for free). Valued at $5000.
