RARE crystallized gold from a NEW 2017 find at a most obscure locale in northeastern Santander Department, Colombia! A rich and aesthetic arborescent carpet of mellow crystallized gold with some nifty iridesence covers the minature matrix. The overall shape of the flattened crystals is spinel-twinned and both hoppered octahedrons and spinel-twins are clearly visible. An exciting NEW gold discovery from a most unusual locale!
