Item Description
Gold specimens from the first and oldest gold mining area in the Urals and Russia are SELDOM on the market. This flattened, sculptural, 3-dimensional, lightly rounded alluvial nugget hosts euhedral, subhedral and massive gold. The rich yellow nugget hosts a striking, slightly distorted, 1.4 cm, octahedron on one edge, many crude smaller octos, what appears to be a few spinel-twins and massive gold. Crystallized nugget gold of this size, richness and quality is VERY RARE! Undoubtably older material, but no proof. 21 grams mass. Current gold bullion value is $34.36/gram or over $700 US. Specimen value for this rarity is much higher, usually double spot on a locality nugget.
