A very sculptural flattened, rounded gold nugget from the famous Bendigo gold fields. Both sides of the bright rich golden-yellow piece are composed of modified octahedrons, with the front having a much more 3-dimensional raised surface. 93.08 carats or 18.6 grams mass. The current spot bullion price for gold is $1306.10 per ounce or $41.99 per gram. Bullion value is $781, and such nuggets usually trade at 2-3x spot multiples, minimum. This would make a super flat piece for jewelry as a pendant for a necklace!
