Crystallized Gold (NEW Find)

Item Description

Lustrous, rich golden-yellow, modified hoppered octahedrons form this very sculptural crystal cluster from a NEW, 2011 find in the famous Motherlode District (mine name will be disclosed in 2013). Some of the octos are sharp, while others are slightly rounded. Depending on the orientation, the piece has a biomorphic look to it. A fine thumbnail with dramatic two-sided visual appeal, rich color and excellent crystallization.
