Item Description

A well-crystallized and aesthetic leaf-like gold specimen from Colorado. The color is a near-iridescent, rich gold. On closer look, though, the leaf is mostly crystallized. The mounds are composed of octahedrons and cubes and the leaf is mostly compressed octahedrons, with more distinct octos along the edges. This cute leaf if from the famous Dixie Mine of the Idaho Springs District, Colorado. Classic material from a CLASSIC Colorado locality and very seldom available in any size or quality. Ex Dave Stoudt Collection.
