Sculptural crystallized miniature gold from this well-known Newfoundland mine. The mellow yellow piece is composed of some octahedrons in the mostly hackly gold piece. This cutie has a distinct biomorphic aspect in one view, with the "ears" of the "head" and front "legs" composed of octahedrons. Most specimens from here are associated with RARE pink granite, so this is an exceptional freestanding solid gold specimen.
