Item Description
A superbly crystallized and very aesthetic copper miniature from the Cranbrook Institute in the Detroit area. The bifurcating arborescent specimen has extremely sharp crystals. They appear to be tetrahexahedrons and many have striking hoppered/skeletal faces. The lustrous, nifty variable patina ranges from rich brick-red coppery to black tenorite. The branches look like a pair of robots from 1950s movies. Classic, very fine old-time material. The numbers match.
