A classic old time specimen from Cornwall featuring small dark brown crystal aggregates of the iron silicate species, Cronstedtite associated with bright soft golden colored metallic Pyrite. The piece looks beast under magnification. You don't see many of these old-time specimens on the market, and they only show up in old collections. If you collect Cornish minerals or classic old European material, don't pass this one up. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#2046). Kay was a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics. She nearly lived 100 years from April 1920 - March 2020.
