A very rich miniature of highly lustrous, sparkly, orange-red crocoite crystals to 1.0 cm on this very showy and highly representative specimen from the famous Adelaide Mine of Tasmania. These crystals are sharp and have exceptional high luster. Excellent material from the from the Al Ordway Collection and acquired in 2001 in a trade from Derek Murray, according to his label. Come with a custom-made and engraved lucite base valued at $145, for free. Valued at $500-600 today.
