The Adelaide mine has produced what are probably the world's finest Crocoites. Often in slender, delicate needles, this specimen has the luxury and benefit of stout, more isolated crystals up to 1 cm in length. Orange-red and highly lustrous, they are set against a dark matrix to stunning effect. One of my favorites for its simplicity and beauty, the aesthetics of this small cabinet are both simple and radiant at the same time. We believe this one, because it is a protected pocket, can be shipped safely - rare for the species!
