Item Description
A classic old time crystal of the world-class Crocoites from the famous Red Lead Mine in Tasmania. The crystal is terminated, but it's a bit rough where it seems to have grown against the pocket wall. The piece exhibits that fiery electric reddish-orange color that is synonymous with this well-known lead chromate. The piece comes with an old label from Ron L. Sohn Minerals of Dayton, Ohio, with a noteworthy price tag of $25, which was a good amount for a crystal of this size and quality back in the day.
