Item Description
Highly lustrous, reddish-orange, crocoite crystals to 3.7 cm are richly and aesthetically set in the sculptural gossan matrix on this very showy and highly representative specimen from the famous Adelaide Mine of Tasmania. Older material from the from the Al Ordway Collection and acquired in 1993 as a gift from Derek Murray, according to his label.
