Lustrous, stout, crocoite crystals sections to 3.2 cm are richly and attractively clustered on two sides of the mounded matrix on this impressive and attractive specimen from Dundas. The crystals are a rich orangy-red, partially gemmy and a few of the larger crystals are hollow. This is desirable older material from the 1970s to 80s finds, as the matrix is very sturdy.
