Item Description

A sculptural large cluster of intergrown creedite balls covered with large, gemmy, golden orange to colorless crystals from the recent August, 2009 find. The large blade is 1.8 cm. This piece is beautifully accented with a nice, large, robust spray of the very rare mineral, Gearksutite. In great shape overall, with few points of contact, the creedite is nice in its own right. This is a very showy, puffball-like cluster of creedite crystals. The creedite crystals in this find are generally larger and gemmier, than earlier finds here. Rare combination, as well. IT TURNS OUT THIS SPARKLING WHITE MATERIAL IS ACTUALLY THE A RARELY CRYSTALLIZED SPECIES only recently recognized as such, and described from here.
