Item Description

One of the newer Creedites from the Rodeo Mine featuring very sharp, rather lustrous, classic orange colored crystals in a radial "spray". This lovely miniature is associated with a 1.7 cm partial, beautifully contrasting greenish-blue Fluorite on the top / side of the piece for a great touch. Creeidte is actually named after the town of Creede in Colorado, where it was first discovered, but other world discoveries later were much more significant, so people don't associate this species with Colorado often. This piece is quite beautiful with the simple two-tone coloration. From the collection of John Arnaud.
