Creedite (superb miniature)

An exceptional miniature with unusual luster , crystal size, color, and 3-dimensionality, from finds a few years ago at this classic and really interesting Chinese locality. Qinglong produces gypsum, calcite, fluorite, and all kinds of weird minerals! Occasionally, it has given up creedite, of at least 4 different habits over the years that are so distinct from one another, you would think they came from different places. Another, with flatlaying elongated lavender crystals , is elsewhere in this auction. This was from finds more recently, probably 2018-2019, and it is just a superb miniature, full and dimensional, with a lot of eye appeal. While larger pieces exist, they often have damage. This is particularly aesthetic and in remarkable condition. Valued $1000-1250
