Item Description

One of the newer Creedites from the Rodeo Mine featuring very sharp, rather lustrous, classic orange colored crystals in radial "sprays". This lovely larger cabinet sized display piece is in great condition all the way around. The largest Creedite crystal measures about 1.1 cm. Creeidte is actually named after the town of Creede in Colorado, where it was first discovered, but other world discoveries later were much more significant, so people don't associate this species with Colorado often. This piece is quite beautiful with rich coloration. From the collection of John Arnaud of Colorado.
