An EXCELLENTspecimen, this large specimen is richly covered with GEMMY orange Creedite crystals. Many of these sharp, clear, glassy crystals average about 8 mm in length. As with the pink Fluorites from the same locality, until these Creedites were discovered in one huge tunnel section about 15 years ago, good crystallized specimens were exceedingly rare and expensive from ANY locality. Suddenly, you could own a really fine Creedite without selling your house to get it. Then, as often happens, we heard that the mining was FINISHED, evidently for good. So if you do not have one, well, here is another chance. The contacts are on the back side so it offers a sterling display face, as you can see.
