Item Description
The finest examples of Creedite ever found are those from Santa Eulalia. These are not only the largest crystals of the species extant, but the best crystal are purple - which is arguably the rarest color in the mineral world (if you eliminate Amethyst). This lovely small cabinet specimen is filled with superb quality, very sharp, highly lustrous, gemmy, prismatic Creedite crystals measuring up to a full 2.1 cm covering the display side of the underlying matrix. Nearly every crystal is damage free, though one of the bigger crystals is contacted. You can see that some of the crytals are quite gemmy, and have a distinctive soft lavender hue. I love the three-dimensional quality of the piece, and the fact that it displays beautifully as you can see from the photos. This piece is priced at $1,750 in the inventory. The piece comes with a lovely hand-written label from Bill Panczner.
