Creedite (attractive color) with Fluorite

The beautiful orange Creedites from the Navidad Mine are some of the most iconic examples of the species ever found, and most certainly the largest and most displayable Creedites out there. In fact, before these specimens hit the market, it was quite difficult to get your hands on a good display quality specimen of Creedite from any locality. This piece features a beautiful radial "sprays" comprising dozens of very sharp, lustrous, well-formed soft orange colored crystals of Creedite measuring up to 1.0 cm. Some of the crystals are quite gemmy, but are nearly colorless, while the more translucent crystals have a darker color. If you look closely, you'll see a beautiful "ice"-like etched crystal group of pale green Fluorite measuring 3.6 cm at its longest dimension on the back of the piece. The piece is in great condition all around, save a point of attachment on the base where it was removed from the pocket. It displays well from several angles. Excellent color, size and quality for these famous and now classic Creedite specimens. Priced in the inventory at $1,400.
