Creedite

To the best of my knowledge, at this point in time, there is only one locality for Creedite in China, and good cabinet sized display specimens are certainly few and far between. This piece hosts dozens of bright, glassy and gemmy, colorless crystals of Creedite, to 1.3 cm in length which cover the upper portion of the matrix. The largest crystal is located near the back of the specimen, and is nearly water-clear. There are also some very attractive radial "sprays" of Creedite on the specimen as well. A worthwhile, "hand"-sized display piece of this attractive material, especially if you're a Chinese mineral collector, and you don't have one of these specimens for your suite.
