Item Description
This deep purple creedite specimen is from the unique, never-repeated mid-1980s finds at the West Camp of Santa Eulalia, and many people believe it to be the best find of the species. Certainly, for the purple variety, it was the largest find. They are all gone now, in old collections. We purchased a large 3000-piece part of the Barlow collection in 1998 with John Veevaert and either he or I sold this at the time. It is a gorgeous specimen in the size range. Note that it retains John Barlow's personal label, signed. Barlow loved the find an bought several flats of the material and stashed it away. You can see several in his 1998 book, The F. John Barlow Collection.
