Summitville, Colorado covellite is rarer than Butte covellite and is considered by many to be the finest covellite in the world. This is an excellent and EXTREMELY RARE, three-sided combination specimen featureing intergrown, corroded, metallic plates of iridescent covellite with rare sky-blue TURQUOISE! Solid covellite, this is a very fine and rare example of the combination species and famous locale. Valued $1200. A must for the Colorado or species collector.
