Iridescent peacock-blue, magenta and neon-green micro covellite plates encase bright, brassy pyrite on this solid, very rich ore specimen from this old, less well-known mining district. Uncommon on the market and excellent material. The piece surely predates WW II. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection, with one side sprayed with "plastic?".
