Item Description
A beautiful single "floater" crystal of rich pink-red colored Ruby from the Longido District in Tanzania, with well-formed lustrous faces and no matrix. The piece is doubly-terminated showing broad pinacoidal faces on each side, with complete thin prism faces around the periphery. No damage. The crystal shows good internal translucency when backlit with a vibrant internal color. A great example of these fairly uncommon Rubies, especially in this size. Specimen weight is 12.95 grams
