Item Description
A shockingly sharp ruby crystal with intense color, just over 1 cm tall, perched and exposed perfectly on matrix. This ruby is razor sharp and unusually fine and translucent for Afghanistan material! It absolutely glows when backlit! The quality is similar to Mogok material, but Mogok rubies are even more rare in matrix and usually just not as sharp in form. Valued $4000-plus for sharpness, then for color, and finally for matrix perch. BONUS: highly fluorescent!
