Item Description
A 1.8 cm, terminated corundum crystal is jauntily set on the end of the granitic matrix wedge on this showy, excellent and rare specimen from an obscure Montana locale. The sharp, hexagonal crystal has luster, slight translucence and is a mottled greenish, purplish-gray. The impression of a larger crystal on one side adds character. Ex Eugene Carmichael Collection.
