Item Description
Nearly all of the Corundum specimens that I've seen from the Soutpansberg (Zoutpansberg) Range are single crystals, but THIS piece is a rarely seen "floater" group consisting of a pair of sharp, hexagonal, doubly terminated, dark brownish-pink Corundum crystals. No matrix or major damage that I can see anywhere. A wonderful example of this old-time material, and certainly one of the best that we've had to offer in the auctions in terms of form, size and color.
