Item Description

Interesting sculptural form on this tapered, tabular, hexagonal corundum crystal with two terminations from a classic Riverside County locale. The mottled orangy-brown to mostly gray crystal is moderately lustrous. These specimens were collected by the Gochenour brothers in the late 1990s at this remote locality. The crystal has 3 very clean repairs, which is typical and common for these pieces. Ex Bob Reynolds Collection. Specimens of this quality only come from recycled collections now.
