Item Description
Coronadite is uncommon Pb-Mn oxide. This sculptural bubbly crust of metallic-gray botryoids is from a small find around 2010 from the well-known Rosh Pinah Mine, famous for excellent orange and yellow barite specimens. These were previously described as romanechite, but Raman spectroscopy, PXRD and EDS showed the species to be coronadite (Bruce Cairncross). Excellent, rare and desirable material.
