Item Description

Cornwallite is a rare Cu-arsenate, that is the arsenate analogue of pseudomalachite and the monoclinic dimorph of cornubite. A large crust of rich green botryoidal cornwallite covers the quartz matrix and there are scattered small patches of green-blue chrysocolla. Choice and rich material from this obscure California locale. Specimens are seldom available. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection.
