Item Description
Cornetite is a rare anhydrous copper phosphate and this famous abandoned copper mine, sometimes worked for specimens, is the Type Locality. Sparkly, bubbly spherical aggregates of pretty two-toned teal-blue cornetite richly cover the undulating face of this dramatic piece. The few broken botryoids reveal the underlying chrysocolla, adding character. Scattered tiny green primary malachite crystals are a nice accent to this rich and fine rarity.
