Item Description
Beautiful rich teal-blue, intensely sparkly, bubbly aggregates of tiny cornetite botryoids cover a chrysocolla crust on matrix on this rich, sculptural and very fine small cabinet from the famous Star of Congo Mine, the Type Locality. This uncommon and excellent piece is from the aptly named late 1990s "Sparkly Pocket". Cornetite is a rare secondary copper phosphate and this is a really colorful, rich and exceptional example for the find.
