Item Description
The hummocky, bubbly botryoidal surface of this sculptural and rich combination is covered with copper and cobalt oxides. Sparkly dark teal-blue cornetite microcrystals and sparkly gemmy, emerald-green primary malachite microcrystals along with blebs and stringers of pretty powder-blue chryscolla richly cover the brown crust of the rare cobalt oxide, heterogenite over the layered matrix. This famous abandoned copper mine is the Type Locality for cornetite. Rich, choice and uncommon combination material from this locale.
