Item Description
Scintillating dark blue cornetite crystals, beautiful teal-blue chrysocolla crystals and scattered patches of starkly contrasting tiny, emerald-green primary malachite crystals cover the front of this sculptural, vuggy, 3-dimensional mounded specimen. The matrix and most of the specimen is brown heterogenite. Cornetite is a rare anhydrous Cu-phosphate and this famous abandoned copper mine is the Type Locality. The contacted back side is mostly heterogenite. Rich, choice and uncommon combination material from this locale.
