Item Description

An impressive, large and colorful combination plate from this famous abandoned copper mine, the Type Locality for cornetite. Bubbly botryoids of pretty teal-blue chrysocolla richly cover the undulating face of this dramatic piece. The left side of the piece hosts dark blue cornetite. Tiny contrasting primary malachite botryoids fill the interstices along with scattered patches of brown heterogenite. Rich, choice and uncommon large combination material from this locale.
