Item Description
Cornetite is one of the most sought after copper phosphates in the world, for it's amazingly beautiful color along with notable scarcity despite it's rather simple chemistry. This piece features beautiful blue "spots" of Cornetite measuring up to 1 mm on matrix. If you collect this material, don't miss out on this hard to find matrix specimen. Most Cornetites from thei locality are groups of radiating aggregates, which are admittedly larger, but almost never found on matrix. From the collection of Wouter Van Tichelen.
