Cornetite is a rare, hydrated copper phosphate. This very showy, vuggy specimen in chrysocolla matrix is very richly lined with scintillating, vivid teal blue cornetite microcrystals. A striking and beautiful combination specimen, as the variable colors of chrysocolla are a fine compliment to the teal-blue cornetite. This extra fine piece, from a New Find is from the Type Locality - the famous Star of Congo Mine. Valued $750. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
