Coral along with such things as Bone, Pearl and Amber is one of the few organic gems in the world. These stones are cut and polished to bring out their rich color as they often have a very dull matte luster when they are found. This "Freeform Triangle/Heart Cabochon" cut gem is a rich orange-red color stone with excellent color consistency and thickness. Please note that this stone has most likely been stabilized to help keep its color, but this is a common and completely accepted practice in the gem world. A beautiful stone for any collector, and certainly larger than most we have offered in the past. Valued at $440.30 high retail.
