Item Description

A very sculptural combination specimen of sharply crystallized copper with crags and crannies richly filled with translucent, apple-green prehnite. The crystallized copper appendages really add charcter to this fine old-timer. The copper has a nice patina. Most such combination specimens came from the famous mines of Houghton and Keweenaw Counties. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection.
