Item Description

A classic and excellent, dendritic specimen of very sharp, tetrahexahedral copper crystals in a branching spinel-twinned form from the famous Broken Hill Mine. The isolated compound crystal knob at the top is 9 mm. The rust-red cuprite coating adds pazzazz. The bit of scattered quartz is a nice accent. A choice crystallized copper from the Phil Scalisi and Sal Avella Collections. Valued by Sal on his card at $400, years ago.
