This large sculptural, old-time, floater crystallized copper specimen consists mainly of tetrahexahedral crystals, with the horizontal spinel-twinned form at the top-center adding pizzazz. The pretty variable iridescent hues caused by bornite or chalcopyrite coatings add color and character. BUT, the highlight is the very sharp and uncommon for Copper Country 1.1 cm dodecahedron beautifully set in the center of piece. Choice old-time copper from this historic district.
