An adorable combination from this well-known Copper Country mine. This very sculptural two-sided miniature is dramatically highlighted by the super sharp 1.5 cm tetrahexahedral copper crystal with a beautiful patina, at the crest with smaller crystals and striking protruding stacked clusters of flattened copper. The copper is attached to copper-included calcite and the basalt matrix hosts rich crusts of contrasting green epidote. Ex Ben Vone Collection and acquired in 1995 from Red Metal Minerals, when they operated the Caledonia Mine from 1985-2013. A classic and very cute Copper Country combination.
