Copper with Silver (Sal Avella Coll.)

Item Description

A scuptural, floater plate of hackly copper hosts scattered bright, hackly silver on this showy, old-time, combination specimen from Houghton County. The silver is concentrated around the central opening in the front on the piece and in a cluster below the opening on the back of the specimen. The copper has variable patina. Copper-silver combination specimens are always desirable from Copper Country. Ex Sal Avella Copper Collection.
