Copper with Malachite (old Bisbee) ex Mullane Coll.

Item Description

A very sculptural, old-time floater specimen of solid crystallized copper from the historic mines at Bisbee. This striking piece with an "arm" has a wide range of patinas and the hackly looking piece is actually comprised of tiny tetrahexahedral crystals, some being very sharp. The green malachite coating is a very colorful accent. Classic material from the Dennis Mullane Bisbee Collection and dates from the 1950s to early 70s.
